Q.No.1: The writer says that the examiners ask questions which the students cannot answer and not those which they can answer. Is this complaint just?

Answer: No, this complaint is not just because the examiners have to prepare question paper according to the syllabus which is specific and same for all kinds of students. Only dull students make such complaints.
جواب:نہیں،یہ شکایت ٹھیک نہیں ہے کیونکہ ممتحن حضرات کو سوالیہ پرچہ سلیبس میں سے بنانا پڑتا ہے جو کہ تمام طالب علموں کے لئے مخصوص اور ایک جیسا ہوتا ہے۔صرف کند ذہن طالب علم ہی اس طرح کی شکایت کرتے ہیں۔

Answer: The purpose of the examiners is to differentiate between a dull and an intelligent student. That’s why, they have to ask both easy and difficult questions. These questions cover the entire syllabus.
جواب:ممتحن حضرات کا مقصد ذہین اور کند ذہن طلب علموں کے درمیان فرق کرنا ہوتا ہے۔ اسی لئے وہ مشکل اور آسان دونوں قسم کے سوال پوچھتے ہیں۔یہ سوالات پورے سلیبس میں سے ہوتے ہیں۔

Answer: Churchill could not do well in the examination because he had an interest in history, poetry and essay writing. However, the examiners set the paper out of Latin and Mathematics which he did not like.

Answer: Churchill wrote only his name at the top of the page. Then, he wrote the number of question with the bracket. After that, he could not write anything on the paper and left it blank.

Answer: At Harrow, he was taught only English for three years. He learnt the English grammar thoroughly. This knowledge helped him in getting a job easily and he also became a successful essay writer.

Answer: Latin and Mathematics were the favourite subjects of the examiners. On the other hand, the writer had great interest in the subjects of history, poetry and writing essays. That’s why, he failed to do well in the examination.
